Dress Code

One of my 6th grade boys pointed out it doesnt say what color dress shirt they have to wear! Concert Dress is white on top black on bottom. Dress shirt and tie for guys. Gals...appropriate length skirts or pants and black hose or tights. Black shoes.

Chaperones

Chaperones wishing to go to 6 Flags with us need to make sure they take the volunteer training. Phone number to call is 222-1095.

Silpada Fundraiser catalogues went home today. I gave them only to the kids that wanted them. Orders are due friday December 7th.

Six Flags!

I will up date this as I get more information. The total cost per person is hovering around 78 dollars. This includes the coach and our ticket to the park for the day. It does not include money for food.

Our first payment of 1300.00 is due the middle of December. Anyone who would like to start a fund for their kido is welcome to do so!

Our first big fund raiser will be selling tickets to the Portland Pirates game where the chorus is going to sing the star spangled banner. Mrs. Wheeler passed out the flyers for that before Thanksgiving break.

I also have a Silpada rep. as a mom and she is willing to set up a party for us and Im thinking that could happen before Christmas.....more on that later!

We are also going to sell cookie dough in January and I have an email response that Im going to send home tomorrow (Wednesday) regarding an online site kids can have their relatives and friends peruse at their leisure if they are into online shopping. It is through the same organization the cookie dough sales is through....Great American, and the rep, Doug Stebbins is a long time good friend of Rays and mine.

All our performances are mandatory except the trip to Six Flags. Please send me a note prior to a concert if there is a conflict.

5th Grade Band - Dress nicely, no dress code

For 6-8 Concert Band
Guys- Black dress pants, long sleve dress shirt with collar and tie.
Gals- Black dress pants, knee length or longer black skirt, black dress pants, nice white dress shirt (GMS dress code applys)

6-8 Jazz Band Competition dress
Guys and Gals black on bottom That includes socks and nylons
Guys black long sleve dress shirt with a red tie
Gals Black shirt with an underlayer of red if desired.
